Module 1: The Case for Agile Leadership

Define agile leadership.
Discuss the key differentiators between an agile leadership approach and a general leadership approach.
Explain the challenges that traditional management approaches face in today’s world of work.
Describe the benefits of becoming a more effective leader for teams and organizations.
Describe key mindset shifts required for effective leadership in complex and uncertain conditions.

Module 2: Agile Leadership in Action

Define a leadership framework and/or model.
Identify key characteristics of leadership frameworks that support successful leadership development and growth.
Examine the benefits and challenges of having a structured leadership development framework.
Demonstrate at least one way to inspect and adapt your own leadership behaviour based on a leadership framework and/or model to increase effectiveness.
Identify at least 5 leadership skills that help Agile Leaders be successful.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to enrolling for the CAL-1 certification course. However, having prior experience or basic knowledge of agile leadership skills is helpful.

Certified Agile Leader 1 (CAL 1) Certification Process

Step 1: Click on Enroll for Certified Agile Leader 1 (CAL 1) Training

Step 2: Attend the 2-day CAL-1 Certified Agile Leadership 1 Training.

Step 3: After successful course completion, you will receive the login credentials from the Certified Scrum Trainer who leads the class.

Step 4: After this, you will have to accept the license agreement by Scrum Alliance.

Step 5: Once you accept it, you can download the (CAL-1®) Certification to become a Certified Agile Leader with 2-Year Scrum Alliance Membership.
