DevOps Leader (DOL)® Exam Details

  • Exam Name: DevOps Leader Exam
  • Exam format: Objective, Multiple choice
  • Training and Exam: In-person / Live Online.
  • Number of questions: 60.
  • Passing score: 45 out of 60 [65% pass rate].
  • Exam duration: 120 minutes [2 hours]
  • Result: Immediately after the exam
  • Exam delivery: Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside help.
  • Exam cost: First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. 
  • Cost of each retake attempt: $50 
  • Retake policy:
  • Second attempt on the exam [first retake] can be done directly after the first attempt. 
  • Third attempt needs a 10-day wait. 
  • Fourth attempt needs a 30-day wait.
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps definitions and principles.
  • Familiarity with standard DevOps principles and terminology as well as relevant work experience.
  • The DevOps Foundation is recommended

The DevOps Foundation Certification emphasizes on:

For this DevOps Leader training, there are no prerequisites. To earn the DevOps Leader Certification, students must complete the DevOps Leader certification test.

The 60-minute DevOps Leader Certification test consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. You must obtain a score of 65% in order to receive the DevOps Leader Certification. The DevOps Institute oversees and maintains the certification.
