Release Train Engineer (RTE) Exam Details

Exam Name: RTE (6.0) – SAFe® Release Train Engineer

Exam Duration: 120 minutes [2 hours] 

No. of Questions: 60

Exam Format: Multiple Choices – Select the Correct Answer

Passing grade: 78%

Exam delivery: Web-based, closed book, no outside assistance.

Language: English

Exam accessibility: On completing SAFe Release Train Engineer 6.0 course, candidate can access the exam within the SAFe Community Platform.

Exam Cost: First exam attempt added as part of this course registration fee, if the candidate takes the exam within 30 days of the course completion.

Retake Policy: 

  • First retake – May be taken immediately after the first failed attempt. 
  • Second retake – May be taken 10 days after the first retake.
  • Third retake – May be taken 30 days after the second retake.
  • All subsequent retakes require a 30-day wait. 
  • Cost of each retake: $50.

The following prerequisites are required:

• Hold at least one current SAFe certification

When you pass the Release Train Engineer exam Pass Percentage (78%), you’ll receive a SAFe Release Train Engineer certificate and the percentage marks with a digital badge so as to promote your accomplishment online.

Step 4: Log in with the given credentials to the Scaled Agile website and easily download your certificate with a digital badge.

Step 5: Be Certified SAFe® Release Train Engineer and enhance your IT career path.

Step 6: A one-year certified membership as a SAFe® Release Train Engineer is also added, which grants you accessibility to the RTE Community of Practice.
