PRINCE2 Foundation Exam & Certification

PRINCE2 Foundation Course Certification Exam Details:

Exam Name: PRINCE2 Foundation Exam

Exam format: Multiple choice

Training and Exam: In-person / Live Online.

Number of questions: 60 questions per paper

Passing score: 36 out of 60 [60% pass rate].

Exam duration: 60 minutes [1 hour]

Exam delivery: At a public PRINCE2 examination center, Online, and through an accredited training organization.

Exam access: To access the PRINCE2 Foundation exam, you need to enroll in a recognized training course from an accredited provider, complete the course material, and then schedule your exam through a designated exam platform

Exam cost: The cost of PRINCE2 Foundation certification is the same as the cost of the test, which is the sole required expense.  

Cost of each retake attempt: The PRINCE2 exam reattempt is not typically free, if you fail your initial Prince2 exam, you will need to pay a fee to retake it, although some exam providers might offer a “re-sit option” where you can purchase a second attempt at a discounted price when booking your initial exam.

Retake policy:

If the first exam is unsuccessful, you will get an email reminder to arrange a re-sit exam within 6 months of the initial exam date. The free re-sit is particular to the test purchased. It is not transferable or refundable if not utilized.

No prerequisites are required. The training is meant for professionals who are new to PRINCE2.
